  1.                           How to Be A Beta Tester
  2.      If you would like to become a beta tester for Simple Zip
  3. Viewer or any of the other programs that are written by Anthony
  4. F. Baechler, III, please read the following carefully.

  6.                           Beta Tester's Agreement
  7.                                 Disclaimer
  8.      If you choose to be a beta tester, you are responsible for
  9. all damage caused to your computer equipment.  Anthony F.
  10. Baechler, III can not be responsible if something should happen
  11. to anything you own because of your testing of this product.
  12.                            Disclosure Agreement
  13.      As a beta tester of products written by Anthony F. Baechler,
  14. III, you agree to not make available either documentation,
  15. patches, source code, or executable programs which have not yet
  16. been officially released to the general public through bulletin
  17. board systems or by other means.
  18.                              Responsibilities
  19.      By becoming a beta tester of programs by Anthony F. Baechler
  20. III, you agree to all of the following:
  21. 1. You shall not distribute anything related to the program which
  22. you are testing.
  23.  
  24. 2. You shall not grant access to any of the beta files to anyone
  25. who might use your computer system.
  26.  
  27. 3. If you are a BBS operator, you shall make the beta version
  28. available for your callers to test but it shall not be made
  29. available for downloading.  I.E: If you are testing Simple Zip
  30. Viewer 1.11B, you would let your callers use this program when
  31. viewing .ZIP files but would not allow SZV111B.ZIP to be made
  32. available for general download access.
  33.  
  34. 4. This agreement is not transferable.  This means that you can
  35. not transfer this agreement to a friend or family member.
  36.  
  37. 5. If at any time you feel that you can not fullfill this
  38. agreement, you are to provide notice of this immediately to
  39. Anthony F. Baechler, III so that you can be removed from the Beta
  40. Testers list.
  41.  
  42. 6. You agree to provide limited support to whoever needs it, as
  43. long as no source code or other similar matters related to the
  44. beta program are discussed.
  45.  
  46. 7. You shall not be offended if your name is distributed on a
  47. beta testers list.
  48.                                  Signature
  49.      Please sign on the following lines.  Include your name, full
  50. and complete address, city, state, zip code, BBS name if
  51. applicable, telephone number, and BBS telephone number if
  52. applicable.  Remember to include area codes on all telephone
  53. numbers.
  54.
